Pocket Quake I Downloads:

NOTICE: GAME DATA FILE required to play
NOTICE:
GX.DLL is required for older devices (MIPS or SH3) to play.

Game Data Files
This file is required to play. It is the game's data files i.e., the levels, models, enemies, characters, and graphics. Without it, or if it is in the wrong directory on the device, the game will give you a "gfx.wad" error message. The README.TXT file contained in the game executable elaborates on those details. This file is provided in a .zip format. Inside the ZIP file is a GZ compressed file. PocketQuake recognizes and decompresses the GZ file at load time so the game can fit into main memory.

If you own id Software's original Quake game CD and wish to play the full version then install it on your main Windows computer, then copy the PAK1.PAK file from the Quake\ID1\ directory on your computer to PocketQuake's Quake\ID1\ directory on your PocketPC device.

(Visit the forums and read the sticky threads at the top if you have any problems)

ARM
This version is for devices with ARM Processors only (StrongARM, XScale, or Samsung). These include the iPAQ, Asus, Toshiba and all other newer PocketPCs (Pocket PC 2002 or WinMobile2003 Operating Systems).

MIPS
This version is for devices with MIPS Processors only. The only devices using MIPS are currently the Casio E-115 and E-125 and the Casio EM500. If you're downloading this version, you might want to think about buying a new PocketPC

SH3
This version is for devices with SH3 Processors only. The only devices using SH3 are currently the Jornada 54x and 52x Series. If you're downloading this version then its time to buy a new device.

Source Code
Download this if you want to take a look at the source code, edit it, or compile your own executable. If you just want to play the game, you don't need to download this file.

Pocket Quake II Downloads:

The Pocket Quake II Downloads are available at Dan East's Dex-plor.com (click here).

Pocket Quake II only runs on WinMobile 2003 and older PocketPC2000 devices. If you have a PocketPC2002 device it probably will not run due to a bug in the Operating System.

You will need the "Pocket Quake II", and "Shareware Quake II Game Data" downloads from his site in order to play the game.
